Terms of Service

AuntCore is a personal study tool. It supplies no books and hosts no shared library — you upload PDFs you own or are licensed to use, and everything generated from them is private to your account.
01 — Nature of the service
AuntCore is a self-directed study tool, not a content provider. We do not supply, sell, license, distribute, or index books or any other copyrighted material, and no content library is shared between users. Every PDF is uploaded at the sole direction of the account holder, stored in private storage accessible only to that account, and processed automatically for the sole purpose of generating that account holder's personal study materials. No uploaded file, extracted text, figure, or generated question is shared with, visible to, or reused for any other user or third party.
02 — Your content, your responsibility
You represent and warrant that, for each file you upload, you own the file or hold a valid license permitting your personal use of it, and that your upload and our automated processing of it at your direction do not infringe or misappropriate the rights of any third party. You are solely responsible for the content you upload. You retain all ownership of your files; you grant AuntCore only the limited, non-exclusive, revocable license necessary to store and process them in order to provide the service to you.
03 — Acceptable use
You may not: upload content you do not have the right to use; share, publish, sell, sublicense, or otherwise redistribute any uploaded book, extracted text, figure, or generated question to any other person; share account credentials or give any other person access to your account or study materials; circumvent usage limits, paywalls, or technical safeguards; interfere with the service; or use AuntCore for any unlawful purpose. We have no obligation to monitor user content, but we reserve the right to review, remove, or disable access to any content and to suspend or terminate any account, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, where we believe a violation of these terms or a legal risk exists.
04 — Copyright policy & DMCA
We respect the intellectual-property rights of publishers and authors and respond expeditiously to copyright complaints. If you believe material stored through AuntCore infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@auntcore.com including: (a) identification of the copyrighted work; (b) identification of the material claimed to be infringing with information reasonably sufficient to locate it; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the copyright owner; and (f) your physical or electronic signature. Upon receipt of a valid notice we will promptly remove or disable access to the identified material and notify the uploader, who may submit a counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
05 — Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AuntCore and its owners, operators, employees, and agents from and against any claims, demands, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: your uploaded content; your violation of these terms; or your actual or alleged infringement of any intellectual-property or other right of any third party, including claims brought by publishers or other rights holders concerning material you uploaded.
06 — Subscriptions
Paid access is billed through Clerk and Stripe. Current plan periods, prices, currency, and any applicable taxes are shown by Clerk before you confirm checkout. If you cancel, access continues until the end of the current paid billing period, unless required otherwise by law or payment-provider rules.
07 — Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these terms, suspected infringement, abuse, or legal risk. Upon account deletion, your uploaded files and derived content are removed as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections 02, 05, 08, and 09 survive termination.
08 — No warranties
AuntCore is provided "as is" and "as available" for study support, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee exam outcomes, uninterrupted access, perfect parsing, or error-free generated questions.
09 — Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, AuntCore is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose or fifty US dollars.
10 — Changes & contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance. Questions can be sent to support@auntcore.com.
